Learning Resource Cooperative (LRC)
The LRC provides educational resources to districts through a cooperative services. By combining full-time enrollment student counts throughout the NWESD region, we are able to negotiate with vendors for reduced fees on subscription services. Over the past two years the LRC has re-worked the agreements to be able to offer an a-la-carte service which enables districts to purchase only those resources they need.
Districts are now able to purchase on a school level, rather than the entire district purchase a product that only a few of the schools will use. There are several choices of resources available:
The LRC also works closely with the Washington Learning Source (WLS) where advantageous. When a providing a resource may be more cost effective by combining all of Washington's student FTE, the product is forward to WLS.
